How can I get the mold smell out of my bathroom?
Question:No matter how much I clean there is this mold smell in my bathroom, I've used bleach, amonia, awesome, ajax, I don't know what else to use, PLEASE HELP
Answers:
Try Lysol. Not the already made stuff but the concentrate. You can get it at Wal-Mart and most stores. It is in a little brown bottle, you mix it with water and it's strong. It doesn't smell that good either, but it's worth a shot. It's what they use in hospitals to disinfect. I use it when I spring clean to wash the walls and floors really good. You may have mold in the walls.
Bi carp soda
Keep a window opn to reduce dampness
First of all, if it smells like mold then it probably is mold. So my first question is, If you've had your house properly inspected for mold? If you haven't I would suggest that you do because mold can spread and end up ruining your house along with causing you some health problems which isn't good. Now if you have had it inspected and the problem is under control (and the smell is all you are left with.) Then I would suggest that you first make sure to air out the room by opening windows and turning on your bathroom exhaust fan (if you have one) to make sure the room is dry (because mold tends to grow in warm, wet places.) If all of that is done I would then suggest you try something like Oust to get out the remaining smell. But if you can still smell mold and you haven't had it checked out then you probably have mold somewhere and you just can't see it yet.
Good luck!
first spray with a mixture of vinegar and baking soda. Let dry.
spray with hot hot water and wipe down with comet. Then wipe with dry soft cloth. and spray with Windex . spray all with warm water. good luck
All the products are just going to mask the smell. You need to get a dehumidifier in their first to remove excess moisture. Then get an air purifier, you can buy a small one for a reasonable price since it will be for a small room. Leave the purifier on high & it will remove all the odors!
try tile cleaner for bathroom, and depends on where it is
If you open a window in the bathroom it will take care of the dampness. Then you can take some baking soda in a bowl and set it in the bathroom. Baking soda is a natural odor eliminator.
