Answers:
Vinegar and water or windex with vinegar. The key is to do it in the morning when the sun isn't real strong or hot. It will keep the streaking to a minimum.
LOL
windex with ammonia works well. use heavy duty WHITE paper towels that are absorbant. my mothers aunt used to use just plain water, and wipe her windows off with a crumpled up newspaper. mom swears it worked great. i also know some people that don't like the smell of the ammonia, so they use vinegar instead!
What type of window cleaner are you using? The best would be a little of vinegar and water in a spray bottle and paper towel. Put 1 Tbs of vinegar in a bottle and fill with water. If the window faces the sun light you will have to try a little more vinegar, but 1/4 tsp at a time.
I wash the windows during Spring and Fall. I wash the inside and outside with soap, water, and a towel. During regular cleaning I use a glass cleaner and newspaper. Works really well on my vehicle windows also. You'll definitely know how well they look when you look out the window at night, it will show.
Try Windex. Apply liberally with one cloth and then rub in vigorously with a clean dry cloth until you achieve a shine
If the sun is on the windows when you're cleaning them that's what's causing the streaks. Clean them when the sun isn't hitting them!
I use to clean for the military and we couldn't have streaks or we had to do them all over again. I would use no streaks glass pluss and it sounds strainge but news papers. News papers will wipe you window with out leaving all the streaks and they are cheep.
