How can I get rid of mouldy stains?
Question:I live in the tropics and have just moved into my new home 5 mths ago. Recently I noticed that my sink and bathroom areas where there is some kind of sealant to prevent water from seeping through is getting mouldy. I tried using a firm toothbrush and mild detergent to get it out but only succeeded in removing 10% of it. Any suggestions from you guys out there? would appreciate it alot.

Please DONT mix your detergent with BLEACH that mixture Can And will KILL YOU!!
Starting over with new caulking is the best idea, but before doing that spray the area with x-14 to kill the root of the mildew. Then re caulk.
That sealant is called caulk and over time it deteriorates and mold will grow. Best solution is to take a putty knife and remove the old caulk and apply new caulk. Buy the caulk that is labeled as Tub & Tile or references bathrooms or kitchens. They come in varying shades and even in clear.
try using a little bleach with your detergent it should take care of it or you can use and spray some Tilex. You don't need much for it just let is sit for a few minutes then clean as usual.
Try a solution of baking soda and vinegar.
Bleach in a spray bottle. Spray the area and wipe clean.
