Removing permanent marker?
Question:How do I remove permanent marker ink from a nametag? It's plastic I think and it feels like a dry erase board but I don't think it's the same... Help please!
Answers:
If you have a dry-erase marker, write over the permanent maker with it. Let it dry and wipe it off. It should remove both the dry-erase and the permanent markers.
Otherwise try isopropyl alcohol.
a little dab of rubbing alchohal.
Hi I got perm marker off a whiteboard by using an sos pad (one of those steel wool w/ soap inside). Just rub lightly over & over until it comes off
Try rubbing alcohol. At my work we write on a dry erase board and sometimes someone doesn't think and grabs a sharpie instead. The rubbing alcohol works for us. It comes right off.
Nail polish remover will easily remove permanent marker from many smooth surfaces, such as kitchen countertops, desktops, and, I imagine, whiteboards.
Give it a try and you will see it vanish in thin air.
Hair spray works best. Gel type hand sanitizer works too.
Good Luck!
I beleive you can use either hairspray or nail polish remover.
You can use most anything alcohol based but the one thing I use for all stubborn marks is a Mr Clean Magic Eraser. That thing is the best, who ever invented that made big bucks. Hope this helps
Hair spray is the best way. Trust me, I teach first grade :) Hand sanitizer also works, but it takes some scrubbing.
