A co-worker recently burned something in the microwave. What is the best way to get rid of the burnt smell?

Question:

Answers:
I dido the lemon water. it realy works just put in on a wash rag and microwave it for 3 min then let it sit to cool off and all the crunch hard gunky stuff stuck to the walls will come right off now. Because you just gave your microwave a good sauna cleaning. and it will also no longer smell of anything burnt! However if I where you I would make the co-worker be the one to clean it! hahaha!

put a cup of vinegar in the microwave and turn it on for a couple of minutes, it will smell like vinegar for a little bit, but the smell will fade fast.
Put a small dish of baking soda in the microwave and close the door. Stir the baking soda a couple of times a day. You may even have to replace with fresh baking soda after 2 days.
vinegar and baking soda

pour into a bowl and put in micro. for a few seconds. wipe clean.

it also gets all the ooye stuff of the micro.
They actually have a product in the market now that is very simple to use in removing stains and odor from your micro-wave. I wouldn't know the name of it but I'm sure you would find it in the cleaning items department.
The best thing I've tried is to slice up a lemon, put it in a
cup or bowl of water, and heat it for a couple of minutes.
That should do it.
LEMON WATER LET IT COOK FOR A FEW MINUTES
half fill a cup with water & add a lemon wedge, put it on full power for 3 mins. The steam will make it easy to clean & the lemon will neutralise any odour.
