Stain removal?
Question:I sat a hot pizza box on my wooden table it left a white stain. It is not raised and can't be felt but is a faint white stain. Any suggestions as to how to remove it without harming the table.

Gently rub in ashes with a damp cloth. Wipe clean and allow to dry.
Sand the area with sandpaper ranging from 100 to 220-grit.
Clean area with mineral spirits or water.
Restain the spot. To match stains, start from lighter stains and proceed to darker.
