How do you best get spaghetti sauce out of clothes?
Question:How do you best get spaghetti sauce out of clothes?
My children seem to inevitably get sauce on their clothes from spaghetti, pizza, canned meals, etc. Spaghetti sauce seems to be the stain that I really have a hard time getting out if I don't get to it right away. I have tried Shout, soaking it in OxiClean ahead of time and we always add a scoop of OxiClean to each load. So far, I have found it best to use dishwashing liquid to try to get it out and then to soak it for a day or two in OxiClean and water in the sink. Then I wash. But this still doesn't seem to get it out completely. Any other ideas?

This sounds crazy, but I have a child who loves sauce and it too gets on all the clothing. My mom used salt on the stains and they came right out.
She made a paste from the salt, adding a little water and rubbed it on the stain.
Try this and see if it works.
Try oxiclean mixed w/ baking soda.
Also I know Spray n´ Wash works pretty good too.
Good Luck!

And remember, the simplest solution is probably your best bet as well!
wash em innit!
I've used a degreaser like Fantastik OxyPower. Spray the spot very good. Then scrub it in. You can wait to wash it or wash it right away. It's worked for me with pizza sauce even after the shirt was washed.
