Cleaning House?

Question:What's the best way to clean a messy, cluttered apartment and create good chi (referring to Feng Shui) and get rid of moldy smells?

Answers:
start on one side of the room and go clock wise and after a break go right back to were you left off. If you haven't wore it, seen it, or used it more than a year get ride of it.

BLEACH! thats the best thing i know that will get rid of Moldy smells
shuv it under yer bed
start with boxes and plastic bags to collect garbage and stuff to keep. then anything that you have not used in a year donate it. clorox and water will remove the the moldy smells, use vinegar and water to clean the windows to remove left over smells. Febreeze will work on everything else. If you have hardwood use some murphys oil soap. take it one step at a time and start from the top and work down.
I hate housework but love a clean house. Hire a professional cleaning service to do a one-time thourough cleaning. Then resolve to keep it that way by doing a little each day.
as far as the moldy smell- bleach works best. as far as the mess and clutter- room by room. throw away or donate things that you have not worn or used in the past year. if you try to tackle the whole house at one time, you will get overwhelmed and give up. good luck and happy cleaning!
I always start in one room and take anything that doesn't go in that room to a central place (like the living room) then move on to the next room, leaving the room with everything in it for last. Then I put everything in that room where it belongs, and go back through each room with the dust rag, then again with the vacuum/broom, then I clean the kitchen and bathroom and mop. If you find stuff that you don't use or haven't used in over 6 months, put it in a box to get rid of. Usually I'm doing laundry the whole time, just changing loads whenever I need to. As for the moldy smell, if it's still there once you are finished (and please check under all the furniture for lurking items) then I would open the windows for a few hours. If it is still there, put a bowl of white vinegar in each room and leave the apartment for as long as possible (at least a day) The vinegar soaks up odors and doesn't leave that harsh chemical smell that bleach does. Good Luck!
1) Buy a minimag about Feng Shui at the grocery store.
2) Buy a bunch of plants and wind chimes to increase good chi.
3) Use Windex to clean every surface of your home, then Fabreeze all fabrics (and the air).
4) Finish up with some good old fashioned perfume/air fresheners/aromatherapy and Enjoy!

Edit: Almost forgot: Hang wind chimes in cluttered areas to draw attention away from the clutter and increase the good chi. =]
