How do I prevent stored clothes from mold and insect?

Question:I want to store some baby clothes (just in case I have more in the future) but I'm afraid that the mold could ruin it or the insect could get in it. We live in a very humid area. Do you know any tips on what is the best way to store them? Thank you.

Answers:
The only way to prevent mold is to keep the stored clothing dry. Hardware stores and home stores sell products that are meant to do just that. They are similar to the little packets of silicon that you find in the shoe or shoebox when you buy athletic shoes. Putting the clothing in sealed containers is also important. I use Rubbermaid containers, but if I lived in a really humid place, I'd check out one of those gizmos that seals things in plastic, and add the dry packs just to be really safe.
I believe that would also keep insects out of the clothes.
Another tip for insect control is to tuck dryer sheets in with the clothes.

moth balls...or get some of those bags they advertise on tv that you can vaccum out the air...they actually work
ziplock bags and cedar drawers... It really does help to keep moths and insects away. the ziplock is for the moisture. Have a good day!
