How often do you clean out your dryer vent?
Question:I'm not talk about the small one on the side, but the vent inside the dryer? My dryer began taking forever to dry the laundry, we called a repair man out, who took off the entire front and somehow the Lint collected to the back where the heater coils are. We had all kinds of Burnt Lint.And that is after we Always Change the filter after every load...

sounds like either the filter is not in tight enough or when you clean it, some of it is falling into the opening as you pull it out, because the lint filter you clean on a daily basis should stop the lint from entering the dryer
You are supposed to clean the lint filter every load. But sometimes there isn't much to clean so I make sure to check it every load. The problem comes from waiting so long that the filter looks like a sweater.
