Question:my favorite black shirt turned brown in the wash! can i reverse this?

not unless you can dye it, Rit dye can re color it, Michael's or Target sells it. Did you use bleach or oxy clean??
try some color safe bleach. this should be gentler on the fabric that regular bleach,,,,
wrong temp dude
it adds character ... stick with the brown dude
