Grease spots burned on porcilen stove top?

Question:My stove has places around the burners that have basically baked on grease or any other type of spills (including water that bioled over the pan) How can I get my stove clean again, I wipe it after each use, but once it gets hot it won't come off. Is there a cleaner that will take care of this?

Answers:
I use plain old oven cleaner on stuff like that. Just be careful of over-spray.

yes at lowes where the stove are sold
Cerma Bright.
Its awesome.
Get it at Extra Foods, canadian tire, superstore..ect.
Definitely! We have a creamic top stove and we use Cooktop Magic. We buy it at our local Pick N Save (a grocery store), but if you can't find it there you can probably find it at Walmart.

Just squirt it onto the spot and use a paper towel or blue scrubbie (never a green one!) and rub the cleaner in small circles until the spot is gone. Some spots can be harder than others, but just keep scrubbing!
soft scrub works great. whatever you use do not scrub it with a scotch brite spounge or scrubber. you will scratch your stove top. also a natural product that works good it bon ami.
I can't stand the smell of cleaners and use all natural products when I can. With my stove, first a I spray on my vinegar and water mixture to wipe up any surface residue. For cooked-in spills, I then sprinkle with baking soda, spritz with vinegar & water and let it sit for a few minutes. This works great 99% of the time. If something is really hard to get, then I use Magic Eraser after the baking soda.
