Does anybody know how to get rid of the rust on my favourite silver (well fake siver) necklace?

Question:Its not that much.. but i'd like to try and get rid of it.
any suggestions?

Answers:
It's probably not rust. The "fake" silver finish has worn off.

Sure I do. You might want to try a very light scrubbing with steel wool with a bit of oil. Be careful and try it in a spot where, it it gets scratched, it's not so noticeable.

Good luck!
Rust? It is usually verdigris.
