Make a trap to lure flying insects
Who wants to play host to a bunch of gnats, flies mosquitoes, or other six-legged pests when you're trying to have a cookout in your yard? Keep the flying gate-crashers at bay by giving them their own VIP section. Place a bowl filled with apple cider vinegar near some food, but away from you and guests. By the evening's end, most of your uninvited guests will be floating inside the bowl.
Good Luck !
My mother has always used fresh mint leaves for this purpose and has never had a problem. Put the leaves in a small cloth pouch and hang it from the kitchen pegs.
you must be talking of gnats..tiny tiny things they are.you can put white vinegar in a small bowl, cover it with a cling wrap but leave an opening to it...just sit the bowl on the counter and they will go to that...
OMG My kitchen was filled with them last year.. They was in the clock , pictures, all my tiles was covered in them. I would like to find the answer out too!
they are comiing up from the garbage or the drain... try keeping your strainer on the hole in your sink, closed and in the lock position.. also bay leaves in a saucer keeps flies away..
Keep all your fruit and veggies in the fridge, or a dark cool place.Bananas are the worst.Hang them on one of those racks.
look at your onions sometimes when 1 has gone bad these tiny flies form and they multiply pretty fast they like fruit thats over ripe and vegetables so look in your kitchen for these it could even be a small piece that got stuck somewhere in a crack once you remove the source they will die as they have just 24 hour life span...garbage disposals often have food stuck in crevices as well so they might be coming from there use bleach to flush it out
