I like Goo Gone myself. A miracle product! In the US it is available in most hardware stores and it is starting to show up in most grocery and drug stores.
try "Goof-off" there's a couple diff versions of the stuff, but you can get it just about anywhere (ask whoever at the store...even a grocery store will have it ) and it works wonders on sticky stuff you want gone! good luck!!
oh, and/or try one of those razors that has the little push attachment. they're basically made for scraping stuff like paper. just be careful to go at a decent angle and dont push too hard or you might scratch the glass.

Vinegar is great for that, plus cleans the window up well too.
you dont put it on in the first place
use a sponge to soak hot water onto the glue.
after a couple of minutes of soaking use a razor blade/stanley blade to gently scrape the glue off.
i guess you should dip some cotton in surgical spirit and wipe the windows - if the tape glue is on the glass of the window - if its on the frame of the window then the paint may also wash off a bit .. best of luck

DeSolve It (purchased at Ace Hardware and some grocery chains will remove it. Just spray it on and rub it then clean windows as usual. Other than that, a razor blade.
Coke works for me-the drink.
White spirit will remove glue off tape.
WD40. Sray on wait 5 minutes rub off with absorbent paper.
