I got silver paint overspray on a black moulded tool case with a grained pattern. Fixes?

Question:I tried gas and other solvents but it just spread it around, making it look even worse! Help!

Any solvent will just spread it around I'm afraid. Your best bet is to spray the whole thing - either all silver, or spray over with black.

Depending on the type of spray, WD40 might lift the silver, but I'm not that certain. It does work like back to black though and will make your tool case shiny!
