How do i get rid of spaghetti stains on tupperware?
Question:i don't have a dishwasher so it must be handwashed. do i need to put baking soda or special soap? i just want to save my tupperware.

usually I try to use those new dual layered Brillo pads but in most cases once a stain like that is on tupperware, there's a slim chance of u gettin it off
Do not put food in Microwave oven in tupperware. Use MW safe glass. Plastics react with food under the radiation put out by the emitter. Do not eat food nuked in plastic. Also the radiation distorts protein strands in meats. Only nuke liquids to be safe. And stay away from the oven at least 6 feet because they are not shielded very well against stray radiation.
cascade has always worked for me even if i dont put it in the dish washer i let it soak in hot water and its gone!
just soap it and soak it under hot water..and if that still doesn't work...leave it on the sun to dry...this usually works on stains..but I'm still not quite sure it will work on spaghetti stains but its worth a try
I don't know the name of the product but they make a special cleaner for Tupperware with stains on it. I have seen the comeraical on TV but I can never remember the name of the stuff. You can proball look at Wal-Mart around the cleaning stuff.

I've used Dawn dishwashing soap to remove spaghetti stains from plastic dishes. Squirt a generous amount on the stain and let it sit for a couple of hours, then wash with very hot water.
Try bleach and a green scratchy pad. To prevent staining, don't heat foods up in the microwave in tupperware, or any plastic for that matter. Tomato and cheese are the worst things on plastic when they are microwaved! Tomato stains, cheese will actually melt into the plastic and melt the plastic a little, leaving a bumpy surface.
