Stain removal?
Question:I've recently washed a white cotton shirt and used stain remover to try and get rid of a coffee stain, but unfortunately there's still a pale stain. Is there anything I can use to get the mark out or will I have to bin my favourite shirt?
Bleach isn't an option as there is a pattern in the shirt, and the stain remover (vanish) didn't get rid of it even the second time.

I use Spray-N-Wash, or Dawn, or Tide directly on the stain, retreat until it comes out, and don't put it in the dryer until the stain is gone
The best thing to get out stains is a Wife!! LOL :-)
Soak it in `Oxyclene` for a couple of days.
BEST bleach is the SUN!!
I've tried the little sachets that you can use to get underwear clean, and that worked. Or the ones for curtain whitening.
If "vanish" didn't work i am not sure what else would.. i haven't tried anything else for that purpose. did you try vanish by making a cream out of it? or used it during washing?
try making a cream with 100ml water and quarter scoop "vanish", apply directly on stain for 10 mins and then rinse.

Try using vinerag mixed with lime juice. rub it in on the stain and keep for 15 mins. Hope this wud work.
Spray 'n' Wash is good, but the spray version doesn't work at all. You have to use the stain stick. That stuff gets shoe polish out of my clothes. If you said there's a texture to the cloth, you need to rub the stain stick in deep so it gets beneath that texture. Let it sit for a while and then wash it.
Then use 'wash bluing'. Mix some with the water in the washing machine and then put your shirt in (but don't get undiluted wash bluing on your shirt or it might leave a blue spot). It makes the fabric white when you can't use bleach.
vinegar has a hundred uses and i would say try it you have nothing to loose
