How do i get rid of oily residue off of my tile floor?

Question:our cats are retarted and do not know hot to use the litter box so they go on the floor and so now there is a oily reidue on the floor how do i get rid of this? i have tryed swiffer, and using a normal mop,

Answers:
I've found that Dawn liquid dish detergent (especially the blue formula), mixed with some hot water, gets rid of any oily surface in the kitchen. I would get on my hand and knees (no mop), and use old rags or towels, and watch the entire floor. When it is clean and dry, I would just rinse once more with plain hot water and let dry.
Then get rid of the darn cats! If they don't know how to use the litter box, give them away! I couldn't stand walking on a floor where there was residue from pet excrement! Yuck!

Try a little vinegar, in warm water.
Buy some "No Return" so they don't go back to that spot, but be careful if it is a porous tile because anything you put on it could be absorbed and make it worse.
If you really want to get rid of the oily residue off of your tile floor, get rid of those retarted cats that don't know hot to use the litter box.
Find a new cat, with common sense.
Use detergent and hot water, with the normal mop and your tile floor should come clean.
Hot water and Dawn is your best bet. Rinse well.
