How do you take off blood stains that have already set off of clothes?
Question:My fiancee works at a Vet clinic and he's always staining his clothes with blood, it's getting expensive buying scrubs all the time!
Answers:
Hydrogen peroxide. apply with a rubbing motion, it will come right out. If it's more difficult than that.. use a blood stain remover, they are things that would take out rust, or other similar stains. But H2O2 has always worked for me, may take 2 or 3 applications (Borox is another good product). Don't dry in the dryer until it is gone, that sets the stains.
Try hydrogen peroxide.
Try scrubbing it in cold water to see if you can get most of the stain off. Then you can soak it in cold water with Oxi-Clean.
as soon as he gets the stain to wet it. it shud come off with ur regular laundy or get some stain remover spray they are lik 5 bucks and unless he is coming soaked in blood that should last you at least 2 months
Soak in hot salted water.
Use hydrogen peroxide. Put it on the stain and let set for a minute then add a bit more and rub, then use something like Spray-N-Wash and rub it in. Use Borax in the wash cycle and once the washer has filled and started washing shut it off and let it soak 30 minutes to an hour. You might also add some bleach to the wash water if colors aren't an issue. Bleach will fade your colors though.
I've had good luck with this to get blood stains out of sheets.
peroxide!
you wash it in the washer over and over!
Peroxide
You could try using SHOUT! spray before putting them in the wash.
Good luck getting set in blood out. Another thing to tell him is to maybe wear a plastic apron over his clothes at work so you don't have to worry about blood stains.
Soak in cold water..
