We've used it on chalk boards and dry erase boards that had permanent marker on them, and it came off with a little scrubbing.
We've gotten all sorts of permanent substances off of walls, floors, everything. It REALLY does work.
Try magic eraser it works wonders on alot of things ... took permanent marker off my computer where my nephew wrote all kinds of things. Good luck!!!
ok... 3 things...
1: try using one of those Mr. Clean Magic scrubby erasers...
2: if that doesn't work then try using fingernail polish remover...
3: if THAT doesn't work use accitone that you get from like home depo or any other hardware store
for the last 2 just use a washcloth or a wad of toilet paper and scrub it off...
hope it works!
alcohol pads and heavy scrubbing.
Methyl Ethyl Ketone - You can buy it at any hardware store in the pain department and it's also the primary solvent in permanent markers.
finger nail polish remover
Try using nail polish remover.
only way i have ever been able to is to wet it with water and scratch it off with my fingernail
If it is pretty soon after, a "magic eraser" might work. If not, my father in law got some great cleaner that took permanent marker off his carpet when my son wrote all over the steps and their favorite rug. I could call him and ask what it is if you email me. If nothing else works, just let me know on email and I will ask him for the name of the stuff that he used. You could also try scratching it off with your fingernail, that might work if you don't scratch the board.
have you tried finger nail polish remover
Acetone, which IS fingernail polish remover, will take the finish off your board.
The Mr. Clean Magic Eraser should work.
use the spray that is to clen white dry erase board- let it sit on the marker for a few minutes then scrub and repaet
COLOUR OVER IT WITH YOUR DRY ERASE MARKERS LET SIT FOR A MIN THEN WIPE OFF
any oil based solvents. many aerosols (not spray paint! hahaha...) and lighter fluids work well.
Real lemon juice worked for me. It may take a couple of applications but it does work.
I work at a school. This does work. Take an expo marker (any white board marker) & scribble over the permanent marker & wipe it fast. It really works. It may take a couple attempts though.
Nail polish remover will do the trick.
