What will remove gasoline smell from clothes?

Question:I recently spilled gasoline on one of my shirts and then made the mistake of putting it in with a regular load of laundry. I now have the gas smell in everything that was in that load.
What can I do to get it out?

Answers:
Rewash the load with regular detergent with 1/2 cup of baking soda added the wash water. If the smell persists ...DO NOT put it in the dryer you could start a fire...

You can try some pine-sol.
Rewash with detergent and a cup of baking soda, then air dry. It might take a day or two. If that doesn't do it, spray with Febreze fabric deoderizer and air some more. It will eventually come out.
