Laundry detergent?
Question:I have switched to purex ultra concertrate. I left Gain for this. Does anyone else use this? how do they feel about this detergent? what is you favorite detergent? I would love to use Tide new scents but it is expensive.

I also use Purex due to the cost of it. But I recently purchased two large bottles of Arm & Hammer detergent for $5.00 total. Talk about a steal!
I don't know about the Purex, but I found the All Small & Mighty to be too concentrated for my clothes. Colors were fading faster and clothes were looking more worn out, my husband lost a button on three of his work shirts in one week. We went back to regular Tide.
My favorite is Tide; however the most effective and environmentally safe is : Arm & Hammer.

I am surprised that you left Gain. I find that it is the best at cleaning ,smell & skin compatability. Purex is O.K. but I don't Think it cleans as well. As far as Tide Goes ,keep it & me as far away as possible.The Enzymes in it make me break out in a red itchy rash.Arm & Hammer is always a good substitute. I would revisit Gain , They just came out with some new Mango/lime scents that are decent.

I have used purex it's o.k i have used all the new tide simple pleasure scents the only one that leaves a good scent is the vanilla lavender,the water lilly and jasmine smells o.k it is a mellow scent my favorite is tide with febreeze meadows and rain,i also use the matching liquid fabric softner and bounce dryershhets in the febreeze meadows and rain this smells very good i've had customers at work ssay how clean it smells and it last for days,i don't like the new gain mango tango.
