Keep a storage unit smelling fresh?
Question:I will be putting a bunch of stuff in storage for a few months. I dont want them to come out smelling like dust and well.a storage unit. Objects range from couches, dressers, to stuffed animals and other things....I am mainly concerned with the fabric items. Most things will be packed and I am packing with fabric sheets in teh boxs and i plan on laying some fabric sheets in the couchs and dressers...
anybody know of something more I can do to keep the smell to a minimum?

I would suggest hanging a couple of Yankee Candle brand "car jars" in the storage space. They are hanging room fresheners shaped like their jar candles. They work very well and come in a variety of scents.
If you cover everything in plastic, the dust won't settle on it. You also need to make sure you put down some insecticide even over the threshold to keep bugs from settling in and moving into your new place.
