How Do I Clean A MACRAME A BABY CRADLE?
Question:I'M TRYING TO CLEAN A MACRAME BABY CRADLE THAT HANGS FROM THE CEILING. IT HAS BEEN IN STORAGE FOR AWHILE IS DUSTY AND HAS A FEW TINY SPOTS OF MILDEW ON IT. IT IS LIGHT YELLOW. WAS MY BABY BROTHERS WHEN HE WAS A BABY, NOW HE IS GETTING READY TO HAVE A BABY. JUST WANT TO HAVE IT ALREADY FOR HIM DON'T HAVE MUCH TIME LEFT BEFORE BABY WILL BE HERE.

I would wash it by hand with cascade, then rinse well.
It's probably polyester. Throw it in the washing machine. If it has wood frame, put it in the kitchen sink with Mean Green and let it soak. I used to make them, myself, in the 70's.
