Wash them and use a fabric softener like Bounce in the dry cycle.
febreeze does the trick or you could always wash them gain laundry detergent is my personal fav.
Gain laundry detergent.
If they're really rank, try a baking soda soak before you wash in Gain.
1 answer. Wash them using fabric softener :P
Try washing them with a nice smelling washer detergent, and then when you dry them put in a dryer sheet thats scented and check your closet for damp areas because that can cause mildew
Taike them out and hang them in the hot sun...that should do the trick....you may have to wash with Tide with Frebreez.love the smell.
Wash them and add Borax with your detergent. I swear by Borax. We have waterfront property and it helps get that musty smell out of everything. It has some kind of bacteria eater in it.
Hang them outside for a while then spray them with Febreeze Spray
you can throw you cloths away, you can wash your cloths or take them out for an air lol i mean it you can put them somewhere where its sunny
Well first of all, you could try washing them normally.
Other wise (if your clothes are white otherwise this bleaches) you could try washing your clothes using the recommended amount of detergent then adding 1 cup of baking soda and 1 cup of vinegar to the wash.
Hang them out on the line for a couple of hours
When the sun's out just hang them. that will take away the smell, and you dont have to remove them from the hangers either. I'd say invest in some clothes freshner as well.
iron them
borax (Not being rude honest)
Wash them again!! I have tried Fabreeze for this and it isnt very effective!
let them hang on something outside on a breezy day.
I agree wash them in borax.
Wash in a detergent based with baking soda, then put in the dryer with a nice smelling fabric softener sheet, possibly using the new Frebreeze.
may sound mad, but you can pop them in the microwave. As long as there isn't any metal buttons or other plastic bits on them
common household ammonia..
add 3/4 cup to a washer load and nothing else, run the load through and then add your normal wash detergent and run it through..
i know a girl who had the habit of starting a load of towels and forgetting them in the washing machine. five days later they are rank. this works to the point that you would never know they smelled bad.
.you will be amazed.
.
1. Fix the roof
2. dry and air your washing properly
3. get vanilla pods in a gauze bag and hang in the wardrobe.
