How can you get marks off of your wall?
Question:I've tried water and window cleaning solutions but they don't work. The marks are from pieces of furniture sliding against the wall and most of them are black.

soft scrub or greased lightning works well too

Fill a spry bottle with water plus about one glug of ammonia and go to it with a rag. If it's really bad, rinse with plain water. I use it all the time on my walls and on places like my stove hood that seem to build up a dust-grease combination. It's a great cleaner and the price is right, too.
There are two things i suggest. The first is hairspray and a damp cloth. The other is Mr. clean magic eraser.(my home will no longer be without one.
