How can i shrink my jacket from a medium to a bit smaller than that, so that it fits tight from the sleeves ?

Question:the jacket is made of 80% cotton. and 20%polyester. and the size is medium.

Answers:
That's very difficult to do. The way most jackets are cut, if you try to shrink it, it will shorten, but the width won't change. If you want the sleeves to be tighter, you would be better off altering the jacket to provide whatever fit you wish. It isn't that difficult to do.

i do not think it can be done. most cotton items are made from preshrunk cotton. and polyester does not shrink but compress and sort of bubble..
i think it would be best to take it to a seamstress and have it altered.
wash it in hot water and dry it in high heat
