How do you get nail polish out of polyester slacks?

Whatever removes the polish will probably ruin the slacks further, but you can try acetone sold in hardware stores.

You can't. Acetone or nail polish remover will burn a hole into the pants. Ask a dry cleaner.

if they're polyester and colorfast, try using just a tiny bit of NON ACETONE nail polish remover. ACETONE WILL MELT POLYESTER. try it on an inside seam to check for colorfastness. good luck! other than that, i don't know of anything other than a drycleaner that could get it out!!
