How to clean my laptop?
Question:I am selling my laptop, and want to make sure its nice and clean. How do I clean the screen without it being damaged? Its a bit smeary and just want something delicate to wipe it with? any ideas? The screen isnt glass its that material stuff!

I have used a damp cloth with some liquid dish soap (very little) My laptop is now four years old with no detrimental effects. Don't push on the screen too hard. I've heard windex and the like screws them up.
Material Stuff? Are you meaning it is a plasma screen?
A soft microfiber cloth used dry to clean off your screen is all you should use

there is pledge all purpose cleaner that comes with a swiffer-like cloth...that's what i use, or swiffer.
Use baby wipes job done!
a soft cloth should do the trick, but be very careful not to use any random chemicals as you could damage the screen. To be on the safe side use a proper laptop screen wipe (not a glass monitor wipe!).
Also you should clean up the keyboard using an airduster and a slightly damp cloth (not a wet cloth)
if its lcd or tft use a baby wipe then let it dry. dont touch it whilst its drying though.
