How do you get hair and fuzz off a pair of black pants?
Question:I bought a pair of black cotton twill pants, but after I wash them once and put them in the dryer they came out with fuzz and hair on them. What can I do now to fix them.
Answers:
Use tape on your hand or a lint roller to remove it once it is already there. Make certain your dryer lint collector is empty before you put them in the dryer. Wash them with other darks that aren't covered in lint or hair. If your washer has a filter or lint catcher, make sure that is cleaned out, too. Add a cup of white vinegar to the rinse water to both soften the fabric, set the dye but it also will resist the fuzz and lint from sticking to the garment. Use fabric softener sheets also in the dryer to remove the static, further, making it difficult for lint to stick.
Use Scotch tape.
you can get a pet hair remover(Lint remover) and roll them on your pants or get fleece and it works the same way.
Sellotape , works very well, just push the sticky part against the fuzz and it will stick to the tape
You can use a lint roller. Or possibly tape wrap it around your hand losse enough to take off and use as if you were using a lint roller.
GO TO ANY STORE AND ASK FOR A LINT REMOVER. MAKE SURE YOU GET THE DISPOSABLES BECAUSE THE PERMANENT ONES JUST DON'T WORK. IT'S IN A FORM OF ROLLER THAT ONCE IT PICKS THE FUZZ AND HAIR OFF YOUR CLOTHS, YOU HAVE TO PILL AND USE THE NEW REMOVER UNTIL YOU DON'T SEE ANY MORE FUZZ, HAIR OR LINT ON YOUR CLOTHS. BEST WAY IS AFTER IRONING THEM. THEY'LL LOOK AS NEW AS WHEN YOU FIRST PURCHASED THEM.
lint brush
duct tape
regular tape
(the last 2 are just time consuming, but it works)
Use tape, next time you wash them make sure there is no lint left in lint trap and use a dryer sheet to remove any hair left on inside of dryer walls.
