How do you remove poop stains?

Question:

Answers:
this may sound silly but it works. The best stain remover was shaving cream. Apply the shaving cream to the stain and leave it for a short time. Then simply with a cloth and cold water remove the shaving cream. In a circular motion. continue rinsing the cloth and continue to remove the shaving cream. Allow to dry and it will take the stain out. I hear about it on a tv show and tried it and I was amazed that it actually worked and I have used it for carpet stains ever since. I have even removed grape juice stains this way. For the under ware and other items. I use a small amount of bleach mixed with dish soup and I make a past and apply it to the stain and it brings it out nice. Just let it sit on the stain a bit before you wash it.

rub poop everywhere else so it blends in
Use some Shout and spray the stain generously. Let it sit for about 2 hours. Fill the washing machine with cold water and put your regular detergent in it with a scoop of OxyClean. Re-saturate the stain with Shout and put the item in the washer. Do not start the washer. Let it sit for 30-60 minutes to soak. Add whatever else needs washing to the washer and run the washer.
you don't say what the poop is on. cleaning it off a sofa is different than cleaning it off a bed or the front door. and then there is old fashioned diapers ( the cloth variety ).
