How do I keep my shirts from getting hangar marks?
Question:Even after the clothes are completely dried and hung, they are still developing hangar marks.
Answers:
Take a half sheet of newspaper and fold it in half, Stick the top of the hanger through the middle and then hang the shirt on it. Leave a couple of inches between shirts in closet.
Try turning the shirts inside out before hanging them. And what kind of hangers are you using? I prefer the thick plastic ones myself over the wire hangers.
Don't use plain wire hangers. Use the thicker, plastic or plastic coated hangers. When you buy cloths that are on the plastic hangers, ask if you can keep those hangers. Some stores will let you have them. You can get a dozen or so plastic, thick hangers from Dollar General for about 3 bucks.
Plastic hangers, make sure the shoulder seam is properly aligned on the hanger and button the top button to keep form
the obvious thing would be to fold them and put them in a drawer. If this is not an option then you can use tissue paper over the hanger. Do Not use newspaper unless you want ink all over the inside of your clothes.
hang them up "inside/out"
