My daughter fell in the lake wearing her K-Swiss, they are dirty and dark on the inside now.?

Question:How can I clean/wash them? Can I wash them in the washingmachine?

Answers:
the thing with shoes is they can be cleaned on the inside. but do not I repeat wash in the washing machine. this will brake down the shoes support system. shoes are made for more then just looks. if after cleaning the out side.with some type of show cleaner and they do not look like they can be saved. I say keep them for a play/outdoor show and buy a new pair.
I use to work for a major athletic shoe retailer. all the major shoe companies would come in and give us clinics. they all said this never wash them and they should be replaced ever 3 to 6 months depending on ware and use. the thing is I know that with all the new washing machines and dryers out there. they say you can. (the appliance industry says so anyway) I found two web pages that says you can as well. I am still more incline to believe the shoe manufactures as to how to care for them. I would check with Kswiss to see what they say. but one things for sure the dryer is a must not. they melt the soles and then they look like they belong to a Jeanie. j

washing machine
yeah sure
i never heard of K-Swiss before but i use either Tide or Gain and put Oxyclean or Biz in with the detergent and the clothes come out real good. good luck
yeah use the washing machine and you could put a little bit of bleach it you think it needs it but thats only if the shoes are all white and if you do dont put too much in there.oh and dont use the the dryer. just dry them out in the sun.
