What's the best way to clean natural bristle brushes?

Question:The one for my face gets moldy. The wooden one for my hair gets, oily. I'd love to know a natural, effective way to clean them both.

Answers:
I would try hand washing them with baby shampoo and let dry in the sun - which is a natural disinfectant.

hot running water
Try using some rubbing alcohol, it would clean and disinfect...=)
I take all my makeup brushes and my hairbrushes and soak them in hot water and shampoo. I leave them for about 20 minutes and then, one by one I take my fingers on the makeup ones and rub the bristles, to make sure they get clean, then I rinse in warm water, I dry the handle and then place them in a plastic cup brush facing up to dry. Then I take a comb, and run it through the hair brushes to remove the hair that is on them, and give them a good rinse, and put them in a cup to dry.
