Killer Cleaning Lady?
Question:The cleaning lady at our place of work is dangerous if you ask me. Cleaning toilets and kitchen with same filthy rag, pouring dirty mop water into the washing up bowl, leaving stinking dirty rags on the kitchen sink. I have complained, but nothing happens. Am i able to take this further? Can i report her or my employers to health and safety? I fear for mine and my colleagues lives.
Answers:
Yes take it further, tell her employers she needs training in hygiene and buy her some new bloody cloths and show her were to empty the mop water, before your all off sick. yuk!!
yes report her to higher authority your boss and they will take it further
yes, she is unhygienic tell your employer
don't forget she is on the minimum wage and may not have proper supply of clothes etc
Yes! Eeek! How gross!...report your employers to health authorities...you cant pour dirty floor water down the same sink that you wash your cups in...think what people stand in on there way to work...perhapsshe ist provided with peoper equipment or training...you have done your first duty in complaining to your employers...I would take it further.
You would get the same treatment if you stayed in one of IOU 5 * hotels they start by cleaning the floor and use the same cloth they clean the toilet and then last thing on to the tooh paste glass
Its a way of the working class drudges to revenge the Middle classes
Who can blame them
and the employers are just glad they got someone who is per functionary
Look at the standard of cleanliness in our hospitals that says it all
Good grief, she is dangerous! Since you've complained and nothing was done, if you're in the US, contact OSHA. I'll put a link below. OSHA stands for Occupational Safety & Health Administration. It's the the main federal agency charged with the enforcement of safety and health legislation. There's a link to contact them at the bottom of that page.
I would report her.
If your boss isn't listening ... maybe a tummy bug and a few days of work will do the trick.
thats so gross, she should be so sacked even if she hasn't got the right equipment she shouldn't be using the same dirty rag for cleaning the toilet and kitchen, sorry but I think I'm gonna be sick.... you should defo take this further, good luck x
Yes you can report her under health and safety she should use colour coded clothes for different tasks she should also get rid of dirty mop water in out side drain or down the toilet your employers are responsible
