How do you engage the self-cleaning feature of a Frigidaire oven, model RE565W1?


Question:The oven came with the house, and we didn't get the manual. We've been living here four years, and its way past time to clean the oven...

Move the lever over the oven door to the right, locking the door and then turn the knob to clean. THE DOOR WONT BE ABLE TO OPEN TILL AFTER THE OVEN COOLS. sorry hit cap lock by mistake. Oven will be in clean mode for a few hours.Just let it cycle. You might want to open a window.
