The little plastic poppers on duvet covers what do you do when they break?

Question:I don't want to use safety pins. Does anybody have any good tips please?

Answers:
if it's one of my favourite quilt covers, i sew a couple of pieces of ribbon on, only needs a couple of stitches & tie them together.
problem solved.

Buy a new quilt cover they are so cheap lol
Try Velcro.
Buy a decent duvet cover, ones that have buttons!
You could always buy little metal poppers from any sewing shop and just sew those on.
Hi there.
You can buy the old fashioned steel ones in haberdashers and they are cheap. Just put them in place next to the old one, a pair of pliers is all you need.
Cheers, Steve.
Sew in a strip of velcro.
You can buy new ones...Probably get some in the supermarket in the sewing section.Just sew them back on :)
i put the tiny metal poppers on next to the plastic ones. that way, they don't show.
sew on some press-studs
If its only an odd one, nothing.

If a lot you could try sowing on a small strip of extra material on both sides, than sow a zip onto the strip and not use the poppers at all?
