Am i a clean freak?
Question:I clean the house from top to bottom everyday-even if it doesnt need cleaning.
I continuously wash my hands-especially if i touch door handles.
I had a bath before my bf came to see me,he stroked my legs and arms, when he left i had another bath(we didnt have sex).
Whenever i use the toilet(public and my own),i can never sit on the toilet seat,i always put toilet roll round the seat,so i can sit on that.
If i see crumbs on the floor i have a tantrum.
What do you think?
Answers:
Yeah, it sounds to me like a little bit of a phobia of germs or a bit of OCD Overly Cleaning Disorder. But yeah, you might wanna seek a little help for that orrrr, make a carrer out of it and make some money...seriously. I wish I could just clean like that! I'd probably love to have you in my house!
umm yes
I asked a scientist, he said no
yes. this is also called OCD: obsessive compulsive disorder. you OBSESS over clean!
You do have a bit of an obsessive behavior..don't be so picky about it, it can lead to insanity, seriously.
I think you need to relax just a little
You seem to have 'obsessive-compulsive disorder' ... yes, you are a 'clean freak' but the 'facts' that you took a bath after your boyfriend just 'stroked' your arms and legs, and the fact that you use 'toilet paper' on ALL toilets, and that you have a 'tantrum' if you see crumbs on the floor tells me that you have 'mental health disorder' and can be treated by a psychiatrist so that you can live a 'more normal life.'
yea
I agree with what everyone said... you have ocd. You can get help with your problem, but if you can live with it and your boyfriend/future husband can handle it then your good.
I wouldn't say you are...At least you are not lazy and keep your house clean..I would love for my man to have what you have and I wouldn't have to worry about doing all the work all the time.
You can never be too careful in public - but at home you are in control of your environment and perhaps shouldn't be so worried or it could develop into a compulsive obsession - you could talk to your GP if you are worried about it. I have a pump bottle of alcohol hand cleaning gel in the kitchen (my husband brings it home from the hospital he works in) and I use it as it kills all germs - that helps me feel clean. I used to be like you but now I have 4 kids and the feeling went away - it's impossible to be that clean now. Occasionally I might feel a panic attack if things are not as clean as I'd like but I calm myself down. You could try to do some calming therapy and see if that helps you.
Hey
at least you admit that. Most people would deny it.
But its better if you relax when at home. The things you mention are actually good practice in public.
