My toddler's new umbrella stroller is covered in mold/mildew!!?
Question:I made the stupid mistake of leaving it outside all winter, folded up and in a covered area, but to my surprise when I opened it up to use first beautiful spring day, I was horribly surprised to find it covered in big grey and black stains!! : O
Does any one have any solutions on how to get rid of the mold/mildew stains?? I don't want to throw it away,
I still really need it for my two year old son.
Thank you for any ideas or solutions you may have to offer : )

Use 2/3 watter and 1/3 vinegar in a spray bottle. This will instantly kill all mold spores and get rid of the mildew stains. Plus, it eliminates any health concerns involved with breathing in mold, especially when it comes to children's health. If you do not like vinegar, then you can use Tree Tea Oil instead. I learned about this when my husband got sick in our old apartment because of mold in our apartment from an old water leak in the floor that was not properly repaired. It works, is safe and easy, and doesn't have any side affects like other so called mold killers that don't work.
Open brolly, uses Jeys fluid diluted, or probably better, the mould and mildew cleaner from any hardware/supermarket shop, and SCRUB like your grandma did.
The way to kill the mildew / mold is like this, first put the umbrella into direct sunlight , the sunlight kills of mildew/mold. Then add lemon juice ,again leave in the sunlight to dry, then wash down with a sponge and warm water. You do the same with dry cleaning item“s , but add salt and lemon juice.
Take the fabric off the frame (usually 4-5 screws) Make a paste of Oxiclean and water, let it sit a bit, then launder it in the hottest water the fabric can handle.
