I cleaned for the military when the families moved out of housing and I have cleaned alot of bathrooms. I use The Works on the bathroom tub and it cleans it wonderfull. If you want it to shine when your done you can wipe it down with windex. We use to do that when I worked for the military.

I like Scrubbing Bubbles ("we scrub so you don't have to") - you spray it on the tub, tile, glass, etc., wipe down with a sponge and it's spotless!
I've used Soft Scrub, Comet, and even baking soda to clean my tub with good effect. And between actual scrubbings, I generally spray diluted Lysol and wipe down the tub after I use it.
The powder version of comet works the best! Sprinkle in the ottom of the tub and put a little water...then use a brush. Takes all the dirt marks off every time. Good Luck!
baking soda and vinegar around where there is a black ring in your tub.
Mr. Clean magic eraser!
Magic Eraser-like products or Soft Scrub (with or w/o bleach) both work pretty well. Baking soda would probably do the trick too, but then you have to get all the powder residue rinsed out or it'll help form more soap scum later. Not too hard to do in a shower of course, but it's just another step.
