How do I clean my faux suede (microfiber) couch?
Question:Not to get out stains, but smells. When my cat was a kitten, she peed on the couch and I've tried vinegar to neutralize the smell...but nothing has worked. Please help!! I can't stand it!

They have an Enzematic Cleaner called "Nature's Wonder" in a plain-ish White bottle with Red Letters @ Petsmart that my family has used for years to get out pet odors. We have always had lie 3+ cats in our house, and that stuff does wonders... Get some (it's about $25 dollars for a 1 liter bottle), check the color fastness on a blind spot on your couch, and then apply directly onto the couch fabric. Then steam clean out like 25-30 minutes later. Works awesome, and if it's in your couch cushions then apply directly to them several times, and steam them out as well. Works good (diluted) as a pet oder eliminator as well. Just spray on like Fabreeze, and carry on. :)
most microfibers are pretty durable fabrics that clean well. You may have to have a professional clean this time though since the cat urine will require the use of enzyme cleaners to neutralise the odours.
If you decide to try cleaning on your own always test spot on an area that is not obvious to check for color-fastness
No doubt about this one-you need a pro with enzyme odor control combined with good Truck mount hot water extraction. I have wrapped sofas in ozone tents if the urine is deep in the cushion.
