What?Are you crazy?We live in a two bedroom two bath mobile home and with 6 kids "grown" and 16 grandchildren,And 5 great grandchildren.Just how in Gods name can we keep this mess cleaned up? when you find out how to make miracles happen,please let me know.
My home is always "comfortably presentable". Toys that are being played with, CD's being listened to or DVD's being watched are acceptable and in a lived in home, are even expected. I think if someone feels comfortable to drop in, they will not mind a few lived in looks. I say good for you for having friends and family that feel that welcome.
for the most part... there is almost always a pile of either dirty or clean clothes that needs tending, and a few dishes in the sink from lunch and dinner, and a little papersork that hasn't been files, but for the most part they would find a fairly nice home... The floors get mopped at least 1x weelky and the bathrooms are 1x weelky too - they just have to remember that I have 2 kids, a stepdaughter, 1 on the way, and a business ran out of the home...

Yes, my house is always pretty much presentable at least in areas where guest would be, I do have a few things laying around but at least they are not strewn around everywhere, I am neat so it is still as I say presentable and plus everything is clean as I use the best disinfectant in the world; White Vinegar which has been touted as being the best disinfectant in the world

My home is usually only 15 minutes away from being clean and company ready.
My office is atleast 15 minutes on its own though so that door is shut when company comes.

It depends on the time of day and if my granddaughter is or has been here, if she has forget it, I'd barely open the door but would rather have the mess than miss her or any of my other grandchildren or children!
No, only when I've tidied up after the kids have gone to school but when they come home it's a mess again.

Well - anytime after noon. I do all my housework in the morning, so if someone came around 10 am, I'd probably be in the middle of vacuuming or laundry, but after noon, everything is always neat and tidy!
