How much should I charge to clean a small 2 br apt?

If your friend is living there, then figure how long you think it would take. Charge a certain amt per hour, like $20.00. That way, you can let her know about how long you think it should take. that way both of you are happy and know what to expect.
I'm near Boston. My cleaning service sends two women. They are hear for 1hr. So, 2 woman hours costs me $60.00 for a three bedroom, 1.5 Bath house, + LR, DR, Kitchen, Den. The first cleaning was double.
So, my best guesstimate is you charge her $60 for the first cleaning, and **** and span the heck out of everything including the fridge, blinds, couch vacumning, and other things you won't do next time. Build value, and she'll be thrilled. The next cleaning will be easier for you, and you'll be better equipped to maintain her apartment at an acceptable level of cleanliness.
