How do I get rid of very dark under arm stains on my light colors, I find it impossible to do.?

Question:Live in a very hot climate, lots of perspiration, very hard water.

There is an old fashioned remedy that has worked for me----make a paste of baking soda and white vinegar and put directly on the stains. You can also rub on a little extra baking soda and vinegar. Be careful, you will want to do this over a sink, as it is pretty messy--the baking soda will foam up. Let it sit for about a half hour and then pop it right in the washing machine and wash as usual. It has worked very well for me---god luck!
