How should I clean my flip flops?

Question:After a while they tend to get footprints on them which doesn't look nice, the sole in mine is leather and suade, how can I clean them, and any idea's on preventing these marks (other than the obvious clean your feet each time you wear them) Thanks

Answers:
First, your flip flops get dirty because the streets are dirty... your feet will get dirty too...
The best way to clean leather is with gentle soap (bar or dish liquid) and water.. scrub delicately or more diligently - finger tips, soft sponge or brush - depends on the quality and treatment of the leather...
may use quite a bit of water - bit by bit as needed ... dampen entire article so as not to create a water ring stain... though complete submersion is not recommended...

Very very carefully.
probably just get some new one's those marks are so hard to get out and I'd probably be even harder getting it out of suede =/
in warm water and washing up liquid
i find this works
Buy a new pair they dont cost alot!
Sling them in the washing machine and see what happens
paddle in the sea (maynot get all the marks off, but what a relaxing way to try)
Try soaking them in hot water and then rubing them with dry candel wax then soaking them again in hot water with a teaspoon of baby oil.
It should work but different brand are different

Hope I helped
I do mine in the bath with the nail scubber and soap..x
Did you try to use a leather cleaner conditioner for the leather part and get an eraser/cleaner for the suede part.
I know this may sound daft but I used upholstery cleaner and scrubbed with a nail brush on mine last summer. They didn't come up like new but a lot cleaner
Clean then very gently with soap and water - but take care not to get them soaking wet. Once they are dry you can bring the suede pile back up by gentle rubbing. Then once they are clean you need to use a scotch guard spray on them before you use them again.
Scrub gently with a nail brush and warm soapy water, pat them dry with an absorbent cloth that will help prevent water marks. After the worst of the water is out of the sole leave to completely dry in a warm room (not on a radiator). Nothing much you can do to prevent them getting dirty because you're wearing them with bare feet and the oil and sweat from your feet combined with the dirt your feet pick up, will soil the soles and leave these horrible marks.
spray with Vanish and leave for half hr and wipe off Brilliant
i used washing powder and warm water and an old tooth brush, it worked but now there dirty agian
I put my flip flops in the kitchen sink and use dish soap on the. I also scrub them with an old tooth brush.
