Also how can i get hairdye spots off a white wall?
Question:I was dying my hair with Feria blackest black due a few weeks ago and a had few tiny splatter spots on the wall next to the sink. I tried to clean them off using a soapy washcloth but that didnt help. Theres a dirty streak on the wall (its not super obvious) but since im moving out of this apartment i need good tips. Should i get the wall painted? its a tiny area the entire wall is white and barely 10 or 11 feet by 2 feet at the most and the affected spot is 5 inches or so.
Answers:
try a cotton ball saturated with peroxide and rub it off...:)
Try some bleach on a bud or use an abrasive cleaner gently. if all else fails just tip-ex the spots.
i have used fingernail polish remover, just dab some on a paper towel and it should just rub right out. if not don't worry about it, since you are moving out your apartment has to be repainted anyways.
Try the "Mr. Clean Magic Eraser" (you can purchase them pretty much anywhere-Grocery Store, Discount Store, etc)
I use them all the time and they have removed a lot of stains I thought were NEVER going to come out. Hope this helps:)
yes paint over it ask your janitor or landlord there for a small touch of paint to clean it with they should say yes if you are afraid to than get a paint thats real close to it from the hobby lobby etc and use that even if its not the same paint it might look pretty close to it -- good luck
Try some bleach diluted in water. If that doesn't work, try a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser...just wet it and scrub! It always seems to work for me. And if all else fails, get a small craft paintbrush and barely go over the spots. It should work fine...but even if you don't cover them, I doubt it would affect your deposit seeing as how that's technically "normal wear and tear." Good luck!

yeah the magic eraser works on hairdye
i did the same thing with hot pink. the only thing that worked for me was mr clean magic eraser. it came off no problem and you can't even tell it was ever there.
just paint over the bits that you can see and leave the rest.
try using the same colored primer
you can try to use oxyclean. it works on every stain known to man
Try with a damp Mr. Clean Magic eraser (at your supermarket), If it has already set for too long you may have to paint.
