How do you clean sterling silver?

Question:I would like to clean my sterling silver jelwery in a quick non-messy way

Answers:
I clean mine by putting it in a container with fairy liquid and warm water.Let it soak for a bit then give it a little shake , rinse and dry of and polish up.

Toothpaste. Paste not Gel. It cleans any jewelry just as good as professional cleaners. I've done it for years on gold, sterling, nickel, you name it.
Tooth paste and a old tooth brush does the trick and you have both at home so there is no going out to buy anything. Its great with all kinds of jewelry and for the diamonds vinegar and water works great for them to shine really good.
I am not exactly sure of the ratio but boil the pieces in a mixture of water, vinegar and baking soda...
You can buy a bottle of liquid jewlery cleaner at Claires or most inexpensive jewelery stores. It works great on sterling silver!
