How do i keep the waistband in my sweat pants from twisting in the wash?
Question:I have an adorable pair of sweatpants that I LOVE. Every time I wash them I have to spend 10 minutes fixing the elastic band in the waist. Any have any tips to keep this from happening?

This might be a bit time consuming but I'm thinking if you put a safety pin through the waist band every few inches that would keep it from twisting in the wash. Good luck!
hmmm. go into the dryer with them? what if u took safety pins and pinned it before u tossed them in?

Replace the elastic with a wider elastic band or sew stitches at the side of the present elastic band that might help.
