All of my jeans came out of the dryer at the laundrymat with some kind of black stuff all over them?
Question:I just got them last week from a friend because i have lost alot of weight and can't afford to go buy new ones at this time. I don't know if it is ink or tar or crayon, but i need to get it out. Has this happen to you before?
Answers:
Take all the jeans put into the bathtub and cover with a whole bottle of detergent, then add water let sit for 24 hours. Whatever is on the jeans will come out. Used this method on tan work pants that had ink stains and vegetable oil stains.
I never put my jeans, in the dryer. I threw them on the back of the chair.
Well, it could be because the town might have been hydrant flushing at the time... The bad news? I had to toss alot of clothes... Try a shout stain stick.Good luck...
I once left a pen in my pocket and, well, ruined a nice shirt. Ink is impossible to get out. If its crayon wax take a blow dryer to it to melt it off. Tar, I don't know, maybe try to wash them with very hot water with lots of detergent.
